From discovering each sea shell to its transforming into a bijou, it's all locked in my imagination and runs out through a hard work - finding, cleaning, testing the sea shell and its strength and endurance. As an author of SAtrae jewelry, I am led and inspired by one main idea - to continue the shell's life in someone else one. The thought I'm using forms of life from Black Sea , which I find in land or in the sea, and turn them into jewels, is leading in the art process. After many experiments on the way to improve my work, along with studying chemistry and physics, I have invented a method to harden the most delicate sea shells, which after turning them into jewels, become practically unbreakable. Inventing this method took me out two years. A process that I dare say, has no analog. 

Diving in the sea is my passion. My eyes are captivated by the sea bottom, where all my treasures live. Despite all the dangers and risks I undertake while I'm looking for sea shells, I don't stop. This is part of me. As an artist and as a human being. The pictures of today, the color of the sea, the amazing forms of sea reefs, shells, fossils and oysters, their natural hues and relief, fulfill my spirit and artistic thought.
